Getting from the Disneyland Hotel to the Disney Parks

In this article, I’ll briefly introduce the Disneyland Hotel and the different options to reach the entrance of the Disney Parks. You’ll discover the available ways to get there easily, as well as those that don’t apply to this hotel. I’ll also share my practical tips for reaching the parks. Quick Introduction to the Disneyland Hotel

The Disneyland Hotel is the closest hotel to the Disney Parks.

It is located right at the entrance of Disneyland Park and even offers a stunning view of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Its theme is inspired by fairy tales and royalty, with décor that immerses guests in a magical and regal atmosphere.

Option #1: Walk through the main entrance

Duration: 2 minutes

The easiest way to get from the Disneyland Hotel to the Disney Parks is on foot. The walk is very short, it takes no more than 2 minutes if you go through the hotel’s main entrance, just outside the grand lobby.

Advantages: the hotel is located right at the foot of the parks, you don’t have to go through an extra security check since it’s already done when you enter the hotel, and you’re protected from the rain when accessing Disneyland Park.

Disadvantage: the Disneyland Hotel is the most expensive hotel at the destination.

Option #2: Take the private elevator

Duration: 2 minutes

Guests staying in a Castle Club room or suite at the Disneyland Hotel can use a private elevator that takes them directly to the Disneyland Park ticket booths. The ride is very quick, and you arrive right at the park entrance. If you want to go to the other park, you’ll still need to walk for about 2 minutes.

Advantages: you enjoy a private, premium service with elegant décor and direct access to Disneyland Park.

Disadvantages: this access doesn’t apply to the other park, and Castle Club rooms and suites are more expensive.

Transportation options that do not apply from the Disneyland Hotel

Since the hotel is located right at the foot of the Disney Parks, it’s neither possible nor necessary to take a car, taxi, or shuttle to get from the Disneyland Hotel to the parks.

Everything is easily accessible on foot in just a few minutes.

My Tips for Getting to the Parks

As a guest of the Disneyland Hotel, even if you’re not staying at the Castle Club, there’s a special entrance dedicated to you at the entrance of Disneyland Park.

It’s located immediately to the right when you exit the hotel, just next to the luggage storage area. A sign shows its location. I recommend using it in the morning, as the other ticket booths can get busy quickly.

If you’re a Castle Club member, you won’t need it because the private elevator takes you directly to a reserved ticket booth with shorter wait times to enter the park.
