You’re staying at the Disney Newport Bay Club for your getaway to Disneyland Paris and wondering how to get to the parks? Don’t worry! You have several options, each with its own charm. Whether you’re a fan of walking or prefer a slightly faster mode of transportation, here’s what you need to know.
Inspired by seaside resorts of the early 20th century, this hotel transports you to a world where maritime charm meets Disney magic. With its grand architecture, cozy rooms, and breathtaking views of the lake, the Newport Bay Club offers an unparalleled stay experience. Whether you’re with family, your significant other, or friends, this hotel promises complete immersion in the golden age of sailing while enjoying the wonders of Disneyland Paris nearby.
Option #1: On foot for a picturesque stroll around the lake
Duration : 15 minutes
If you want to start your day gently and beautifully, opt for a leisurely walk. Follow the path that goes around the lake of the Disney Village. In the morning, the water is often calm and reflects the sky, offering a soothing and photogenic spectacle. Once your walk is over, you’ll arrive directly at the bag check area. After this checkpoint, stroll through the lively Disney Village with its shops and restaurants, and in a few steps, you’re ready to enter Disneyland Park or the Walt Disney Studios.
Option #2: By Disney shuttle, the quick and convenient choice
Duration : 10 minutes
For those who prefer to maximize their time in the parks or simply avoid walking, the Disney shuttle is the ideal option. It’s free, which is a big plus, especially if you’re traveling with family. The shuttles depart from the reception of your hotel every 12 minutes, every day of the year, from 6:30 AM until 11:00 PM. In no time, you’ll be dropped off at the Disneyland Paris bus station. From there, after bag check, the parks await you just beyond for a day of adventures.
My tips for making the best choice
Morning walk, in my opinion, is a lovely way to stretch your legs and mentally prepare for a day full of excitement and thrills. The view of the lake and Disney Village in the early morning is truly something not to be missed, I find. However, after a long day exploring the parks, meeting your favorite Disney characters, and enjoying the attractions, your feet might need a break. That’s where the Disney shuttle comes into play. Hop aboard and let yourself be comfortably driven back to the hotel for the return journey, especially if you have young children.
