As you may know, during the launch of the new Disneyland Pass range in the summer of 2023, Disneyland Paris announced the end of the privilege tickets, a decision that sparked mixed reactions due to their popularity among Annual Pass holders. Fortunately, to offset this loss, Disneyland Paris quickly announced the temporary return of the “Friend Tickets” offer throughout the year. In this article, I will present this offer in detail and explain how you can take advantage of it to share the Disney magic with your loved ones!
Introduction to the Friend Tickets
The Friend Tickets offer is similar in spirit to the Privilege Tickets. It allows current Disneyland Pass holders to purchase entry tickets at discounted rates for their friends and family. Therefore, it’s an opportunity for regular visitors to share the magic of Disneyland with their loved ones at a lower cost. However, just like when this offer existed, offered until 2017, it’s a temporary, limited-time offer that is only available a few times a year.
The editions of the Friend Ticket offer
The first edition of the new Friend Tickets offer took place from 01/07/2023 to 03/08/2024. This offer is exclusively reserved for Disneyland Pass members, priced from €41 to €59 for a 1-day / 2-park ticket depending on the reservation dates. Tickets are nominative, non-transferable, and non-refundable, with a maximum of 5 Friend Tickets per Disneyland Pass per day
How to book a Friend Ticket for Disneyland Paris?
One of the major and practical changes of this new offer compared to Privilege Tickets as well as the previous version (before 2017) of Friend Tickets is the possibility to reserve and pay for the tickets directly online and no longer only at the park ticket booths. Starting from November 30th, Disneyland Pass holders will be able to easily access this offer through their ‘My Disneyland Pass’ section on the official app or online.
Tutorial on how to purchase a Friend Ticket
Step #1: To purchase a Friend Ticket, you need to log in to your Disney account, either through the Disneyland Paris website or the official mobile app.
Step #2: Once logged in, you need to go to your “Account” section and click on “My Disneyland Pass”
Step #3: In the “My Disneyland Pass” tab, you then need to scroll down the page to find the “Friend Tickets” section and click on the “See more” button.
Step #4: On the newly opened page, you need to select the “1 day” and “2 parks” ticket type to view the available dates for the Friend Tickets. Dates that are still available are marked with a specific orange icon.
Step #5: Next, you need to select your visit date and confirm your choice by clicking on the “Select” button.
Step #6: Next, you need to proceed with purchasing your ticket. To do so, you need to choose your ticket type by clicking on “Friend Ticket”.
Step #7: Afterwards, you need to select the number of companions joining you for your visit date. Please note that you must not exceed 5 tickets per reservation and per Disneyland Pass.
Step #8: For this step, you need to once again select your visit date using the calendar. A color code is available to show the different available prices.
Step #9: Next, you must verify your selection and then click on “Add to Cart”.
Step #10: Then, verify your order and click on “Continue” to proceed to the payment page.
Step #11: Add the first and last names of your companions. Please note that the tickets are nominative, non-transferable, and non-refundable.
Step #12: Finally, verify your order and proceed to payment. Once your order is registered and validated, you will receive your Friend Tickets by email.
