In recent years, Halloween has become a favorite season for visitors to Disneyland Paris. From the beginning of October, the park transforms itself to offer a totally different experience, with decorations specially designed for the occasion, iconic characters in costume, Halloween-themed shows, restaurants with special dishes and various activities in the park, hotels and Disney Village. It’s a busy time of year, marked by higher attendance, but the unique, immersive atmosphere makes this a must-see season for thrill-seekers and festivities alike.

What to do at Disneyland Paris during the Halloween season?
Halloween at Disneyland Paris is short, but it’s packed with activities for all ages. Here’s what you can do:
- Attend a Halloween-themed pre-show.
- Enjoy a Halloween parade that passes through the park several times a day.
- Meet Disney characters dressed up for the occasion.
- See Disney villains, present only during this period.

The Halloween 2024 season program at Disneyland Paris
For Halloween 2024, Disneyland Paris has planned an even richer program than in previous years. You’ll be able to meet up with the Trickster Spirits, including Mickey, Minnie and their friends, as well as other mysterious guests to :

I recommend starting with Phantom Manor and The Tower of Terror, which offer thrills in a spooky setting. For a gentler but just as immersive experience, don’t miss Pirates of the Caribbean and the mysterious caves nearby, as well as Snow White to see the witch, which will take you through magical and slightly unsettling moments.

You can usually find them all over the park, but to make sure you don’t miss a thing, I’d advise you to visit the Boardwalk Candy Palace or Victoria’s Home Style Restaurant on Main Street U.S.A., the Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland, or Annette’s Diner in Disney Village. These places are perfect for sampling special Halloween treats and drinks. If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, don’t hesitate to visit your hotel bar, which usually has some wonderful gourmet cocktails for the occasion.

No, Disneyland Paris isn’t scary on Halloween. The atmosphere is festive and suitable for all ages, with decorations and animations that remain playful.
Is Halloween a good time for kids at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, just like the rest of the year, Halloween is a perfectly child-friendly season. The park also offers activities and entertainment that appeal to all ages.
Is the park busiest on Halloween?
In part, yes. Generally speaking, the first two weeks of the season are quiet, but the park then becomes very busy during the school vacations.
Can we meet characters exclusive to this season?
Yes, you can meet characters in Halloween costumes, as well as Disney Villains who are only present during this season!
Is the whole park decorated for Halloween?
No, only Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland and Disney Hotels are usually decorated for Halloween. Other areas of the park don’t benefit from special decorations for the occasion, so you can still discover the Disney universe in its original version.
Can we come in costume for the Halloween season?
Yes, but only for children under 12. An exception is made on the evening of October 31, when everyone can normally come in costume.
Can we buy disguises on site?
Yes, a wide range of costumes and accessories for children and adults are available in the park’s boutiques.
