Visiting Disneyland Paris for the Halloween season? Want to enjoy the Halloween parade while getting the best viewing spots? You’re in the right place!

In this article, I’ll share everything you need to know about the Halloween parade at Disneyland Paris: what it’s all about, where and when it takes place, the best viewing spots, the full parade route, the ideal time to arrive early, and a FAQ answering the most common questions.

What is the Halloween parade at Disneyland Paris

The Halloween parade is one of the main highlights of the Halloween season at Disneyland Paris. It’s only available during this special time, usually from early October to early November.

It complements the park’s regular parade and gives visitors the chance to see Halloween-themed floats, Disney characters in Halloween costumes, and a festive yet mischievous atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of the season.

The Halloween Parade Currently Featured in the Park (2013 – )

The current Halloween parade at Disneyland Paris is called Mickey’s Halloween Celebration.

First introduced in 2013, this parade has evolved over the years with the regular addition of new floats and characters, while keeping its festive and mischievous spirit.

It features Mickey and his friends in a colorful and playfully spooky atmosphere, accompanied by dancers and catchy music.

A show stop takes place at Central Plaza, in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle: the floats pause to offer visitors a special choreography on the central hub.

The parade is performed twice a day, during the daytime only, usually around 3:25 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. (times are for reference and may vary).

Do not confuse

Don’t confuse the Halloween parade with the park’s regular parade, which also runs during the Halloween season but at a different time of day.

The best viewing spots for the Halloween parade

The Halloween parade takes place twice a day, with a different route for each performance. Depending on which one you choose to watch, I recommend different viewing spots to make the most of the experience.

The best viewing spots for the Halloween parade during the 1st performance

Here are the viewing spots I recommend for the first performance, usually scheduled around 3:20 p.m. (times are for reference and may vary).

On the right side of the hub at Central Plaza (spot #1)

I recommend standing on the right side of the hub at Central Plaza to watch the first performance of Mickey’s Halloween Celebration. This spot offers a clear view of the castle and the floats as they arrive from Fantasyland.

Advantages:
Great visibility of the show stop thanks to the raised platforms on the hub, and a beautiful view of the floats with the castle in the background.

Disadvantages:
This is a very popular spot, so it’s best to arrive early. You won’t have a good view of the floats as they head down Main Street afterward.

In the center of the hub at Central Plaza (spot #2)

Another great option is to stand in the center of the hub at Central Plaza. This spot offers a good view of the castle, the dancers performing on the hub, and allows you to see all the floats as they pass by.

Advantages:
Clear view of the castle and the hub performances, plus the chance to see all the floats as they circle the hub.

Disadvantages:
This is a very popular spot with frequent foot traffic from guests who aren’t watching the parade.

On Town Square, facing the castle (spot #3)

Another one of my favorite spots is on Town Square, at the park entrance, facing the castle.

Advantages:
This location gives you a beautiful view of Main Street with its Halloween decorations and offers a completely clear view of the parade.

Disadvantages:
This spot is very popular, which often means a long wait. Sometimes, it may also be reserved for VIPs or Disneyland Paris communication teams.

In front of Bella Notte in Fantasyland (spot #4)

My final favorite spot is in front of Bella Notte in Fantasyland. This is the place I pick when I arrive shortly before the parade starts.

Advantages:
Direct view of the floats entering and the start of the show.

Disadvantages:
The background isn’t the most scenic for photos.

The best viewing spots for the Halloween parade during the 2nd performance

Here are the viewing spots I recommend for the second performance, usually scheduled around 5:00 p.m. (times are for reference and may vary).

On Town Square (spot #1)

For the second performance, the parade starts at Town Square. I recommend standing here to enjoy both the float departure and their journey up Main Street, with the castle in the background.

Advantages:
Direct view of the floats as they leave and of Main Street decorated for Halloween, with the castle in the background — perfect for great visuals.

Disadvantages:
This spot is very popular and can sometimes be reserved for Disneyland Paris communication teams or VIPs.

At the bottom of the hub, facing Main Street (spot #2)

The bottom of the hub is an excellent spot for the second performance, as it puts you right in the front row for the floats coming up Main Street U.S.A.

Advantages:
Direct view of the floats arriving from Main Street U.S.A. and of the dancers performing right in front of you during the show stop, for total immersion.

Disadvantages:
This is one of the most popular spots. Space is often tight, and the view is limited to the platforms on the right and left, with no visibility of the one at the back.

In the center of the hub at Central Plaza (spot #3)

Another good option is to stand in the center of the hub at Central Plaza. This spot offers a nice view of the castle, the dancers performing on the hub, and allows you to see all the floats as they pass by.

Advantages:
Clear view of the castle and hub performances, plus the chance to see all the floats as they circle the hub.

Disadvantages:
This is a very popular spot with frequent foot traffic from guests who aren’t watching the parade.

In front of Bella Notte in Fantasyland (spot #4)

My final favorite spot is in front of Bella Notte in Fantasyland. This is the place I pick when I arrive shortly before the parade starts.

Advantages:
Direct view of the floats as they exit and the end of the show.

Disadvantages:
The background isn’t the most scenic for photos.

The Halloween parade routes at Disneyland Paris

The Halloween parade during the first performance starts in Fantasyland.

It moves toward Central Plaza’s hub, where it circles twice, with dancers and characters stepping onto the hub for the show stop.

The parade then continues down the full length of Main Street U.S.A. to Town Square, finishing its route just past the Ribbons and Bows Hat Shop.

The Halloween parade during the second performance starts at the park entrance.

It passes directly in front of New Century Notions Flora’s Unique Boutique without circling Town Square, then heads up Main Street U.S.A. to the hub, where it makes two loops with show stops.

It then continues its route to Fantasyland, ending in front of the it’s a small world attraction.

How early should you arrive for the Halloween parade?

The Halloween parade takes place twice a day at Disneyland Paris. To get a good spot, it’s best to arrive between 30 and 45 minutes before the parade starts.
