The meal plans at Disneyland Paris, also called “meal vouchers” by some, are only available if you stay in an official Disney hotel.

These plans allow you to plan your meals in advance and enjoy your visit with more peace of mind.

They make organizing your meals easier and, in some cases, can help you save a little money at the restaurants.

They are also a good way to manage your budget before your trip, as you will have less (or nothing) to spend on meals once you are there.

The Different Meal Plans at Disneyland Paris

At Disneyland Paris, there are three different meal plans to match your habits, your schedule, and the experience you want during your stay:

• Breakfast: includes one breakfast in your Disney hotel per night.
• Half board: includes one breakfast in your Disney hotel + one meal in the restaurant of your choice per night.
• Full board: includes one breakfast in your Disney hotel + two meals in the restaurants of your choice per night.

The Meal Plan Options at Disneyland Paris

Once you have chosen your hotel and meal plan, several options may be available depending on the hotel booked. These options give you more or fewer benefits and choices in the restaurants. Here are the main ones:

• Standard meal plan option: available only at Davy Crockett Ranch and Hotel Santa Fe.
• Plus meal plan option: available only at Hotel Cheyenne, Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay Club, and New York – The Art of Marvel (as well as Davy Crockett Ranch and Santa Fe with full board).
• Extra Plus meal plan option: available in all Disney hotels except Disneyland Hotel (according to the latest information, the Royal Banquet will ultimately be included in the package despite what is stated on the Disneyland Paris website.).
• Premium meal plan option: available only at Disneyland Hotel.

The Advantages of the Different Options

Each option includes different benefits:

• Breakfast in your Disney hotel (all options)
• The selection of eligible restaurants (more limited for Standard and Plus options).
• Access to restaurants with character dining (reserved for Premium and Extra Plus options).
• Available plans (the Extra Plus option does not offer half board).
• Snacks and drinks included (only with the Extra Plus option).

Are Disney Meal Plans Worth It?

The value of the meal plans depends on the plan you choose.

For the breakfast-only plan, the price is exactly the same as if you pay directly on site.

For the half board and full board plans, I recommend checking the menus and prices of the restaurants when planning your stay, to compare the cost with or without a meal plan.

Example Calculation of the Meal Plan

Example of prices with or without a meal plan: For an adult staying 2 nights at Disney Newport Bay Club in a Superior Room, for an arrival before September 30, 2025, with the Half Board Plus meal plan at €130 per person, per stay:

• Day 1: dinner at Cape Cod (all-you-can-eat buffet, 1 non-alcoholic drink)
• Day 2: breakfast at your Disney Hotel (all-you-can-eat buffet) and lunch at Captain Jack’s – Restaurant des Pirates (set menu with starter, main course, and dessert)
• Day 3: breakfast at your Disney Hotel (all-you-can-eat buffet)

Meals with the meal plan cost €130, while equivalent meals without the meal plan are about €160. This example shows potential savings of around 18%.

This is only an example calculation, but only a comparison with your actual meal choices will show if the meal plan is worth it for you.

Some Tips to Make the Most of Your Meal Plan

Here are my tips to make the most of your meal plan:

• Check the prices of the restaurants that interest you.
• Choose all-you-can-eat buffets or table service restaurants, often more expensive than fast-food restaurants.
• Select full meals with starter, main course, and dessert to get the most out of the plan.
  Book your restaurants in advance to make sure you can enjoy them.

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Meal Plans

• You need to check in advance to make sure the plan is worth it for you.
• You still have to book your restaurants in advance.
• Less flexibility if you want to change your plans or try other restaurants.
• The meal plan is only available for guests staying at official Disney hotels.

List of Restaurants Eligible for Disney Meal Plans

For breakfasts, the meal plans allow you to have your meal only in your Disney hotel.

For lunches and dinners, you can choose from all the restaurants in the parks and Disney hotels, as well as some restaurants in Disney Village (Annette’s Diner, La Grange at Billy Bob’s and The Steakhouse).

However, for character dining, this option is reserved for the Extra Plus and Premium meal plans.
