Preparing for a visit to Disneyland Paris can be exciting, but it can also be stressful if you’re not properly prepared. In order to fully enjoy your day at the theme park, it’s important to know the essential items to bring along with you. Whether you’re a regular visitor or it’s your first time, my guide will help ensure you don’t forget anything for a successful day at Disneyland Paris.
If you’re planning to spend a day at Disneyland Paris, you should prepare yourself for a magical and exciting experience. However, with so much to see and do in this theme park, it can be easy to forget certain important details that could spoil your day. To help you remember everything, here’s an essential checklist for spending a day at Disneyland Paris.
My checklist related to organizing your day
Operating Hours : Check the park’s opening and closing hours before heading there. You can also verify the schedules for shows, parades, and character meet-and-greets to plan your day accordingly.
Character Meet-and-Greets : If you want to meet Disney characters, plan in advance to know where and when they will be present in the park. I recommend downloading the official Disneyland Paris app for real-time information.
Weather : Check the weather to know how to dress and prepare extra clothes if necessary.
Transportation : Plan your route to Disneyland Paris in advance and allow enough time to arrive on time. You can use public transportation, take a taxi, or use your own car.
Meals : Remember to book a table in advance (at least 1 month) at one of the many restaurants in the park to ensure you have a spot, or opt for click and collect on the day of your visit to save time. If you prefer, you can prepare your own meal.
My checklist related to essential equipment not to forget
Water bottle : A water bottle with water to keep you hydrated throughout the day is crucial. This will also save you from queuing to buy drinks.
Umbrella or poncho : If the weather forecasts rain, bring umbrellas to protect yourself. Ponchos can also be handy.
Sunglasses and hat : If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris during the summer months, make sure to bring a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun, as well as sunscreen, especially for the younger ones.
External battery : If you plan on spending a whole day at Disneyland Paris, you’ll likely need to recharge your mobile phone. Bring a portable charger with your external battery to ensure you don’t run out of power.
First aid kit : Packing some medication in your bag is also a good idea to prepare for any eventuality. For example, you can bring medication for headaches, stomachaches, and blisters.
