Presentation of the attraction
Les Tapis Volants – Flying Carpets Over Agrabah is an attraction located at Disneyland Paris, more precisely in Walt Disney Studios Park. Inspired by the Disney classic “Aladdin”, this attraction allows visitors to take control of their own flying carpet and fly high into the sky over Agrabah, the film’s fictional city.
Visitors board a “magic carpet” and can control their vertical movement using a joystick, giving them the impression of flying. On top of this, the carpet can also tilt forwards or backwards, adding another dimension of fun and excitement.
The attraction is decorated in Middle Eastern style, with a large genie lamp in the center and a giant statue of the Genie at the side. The decor and music help create an atmosphere reminiscent of the film “Aladdin”.
