Firstly, it’s important to understand how Disney Premier Access works. It is available for purchase for most popular attractions at Disneyland Paris, including Big Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. When you purchase Disney Premier Access, you can access a special queue that is typically much shorter than the regular queue. This means you can enjoy the attraction without spending hours in line. Who is Disney Premier Access for?

As you may have gathered, Disney Premier Access allows you to save time and energy. If you’ve ever visited Disneyland Paris, you know that queues for attractions can be incredibly long, especially during peak periods such as Halloween or Christmas holidays. By using Disney Premier Access, you can bypass most queues and enjoy more attractions during your day at the park. This also means you won’t have to spend as much time standing in queues, which can be very tiring, especially if you’re traveling with young children.

In my opinion, Disney Premier Access is particularly suitable if you rarely visit Disneyland Paris. For example, if you come once a year or less, during peak periods such as Halloween or Christmas holidays, or on public holidays or special dates at Disneyland Paris. It is also particularly suitable and targeted for those who do not wish to wait during their stay but have a significant budget.

For which attraction is Disney Premier Access suitable?

While Disney Premier Access is offered for the most popular and busiest attractions at Disneyland Paris, it may not necessarily be suitable for all of these attractions. I’ll let you discover, in my opinion, which attractions Disney Premier is useful or unnecessary for.

The interesting attractions with Disney Premier Access

  • Autopia: A flagship attraction in Discoveryland, often favored by families and young children.
  • Big Thunder Mountain: This attraction is typically the busiest in the park throughout the day.
  • Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast: Another iconic attraction in Discoveryland with relatively low throughput; Disney Premier Access allows you to join the queue indoors.
  • Peter Pan’s Flight: The dark ride with the longest queue, even during Extra Magic Hours. Disney Premier Access is truly beneficial for this attraction.
  • Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain: Even though the attraction isn’t always crowded, Disney Premier Access allows you to bypass the outdoor queue, which is very useful in extreme weather conditions.
  • Star Tours: If you really want to experience this attraction, don’t hesitate to get Disney Premier Access. It allows you to go straight to the boarding area.
  • Crush’s Coaster: Arguably the attraction with the lowest throughput in Disneyland Paris. Disney Premier Access can help avoid long wait times (sometimes hours) in the queue.
  • Ratatouille: Often popular with families, it can be useful, especially during school holidays, to get Disney Premier Access for this attraction.
  • Spider-Man WEB Adventure: The iconic attraction of the Avengers Campus is, in my opinion, one of the must-do attractions during your stay, even if it means getting Premier Access.

The less interesting attractions with Disney Premier Access

  • Indiana Jones: The attraction rarely has a long queue.

  • It’s a Small World: The attraction rarely has a long queue, so it’s not necessary to purchase Disney Premier Access.

  • Orbitron: The attraction can have a fairly substantial queue, but it’s not worth purchasing Disney Premier Access in my opinion. Instead, wait until the end of the day when the attraction is often less crowded.

  • Phantom Manor: Towards the end of the day, you generally have between 5 and 15 minutes of waiting time, so don’t hesitate!

  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Most of the time, you can enjoy the attraction towards the end of the day or during the parade, with a wait of 10 or 20 minutes!

  • Cars Road Trip: With wait times never exceeding 15 minutes, it’s not necessary to pay for this attraction.

  • Flight Force: With few people usually in the afternoon and evening, it’s unnecessary to get Disney Premier Access for this attraction.

  • The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror: With a fairly good throughput, it’s not often necessary to get Disney Premier Access.
