Have you ever wondered how long it takes to walk around Disneyland Paris or the Walt Disney Studios? Or would you like to know how many steps you will take during your day at Disneyland Paris?

These may seem like simple questions, but for anyone planning a magical visit to one of the world’s most iconic parks, they can be crucial. In this article, I’m going to cover these topics and give you some practical advice on how to maximise your time at Disneyland Paris. First of all, it’s important to note that the time needed to do the full tour of the parks depends on a number of factors, including the season, the day of the week, opening hours and, of course, your own pace.

How long does it take to tour Disneyland Park?

To determine how long it would take me to walk around Disneyland Park, I simply started a stopwatch as soon as I passed through the entrance gates. My journey began in Town Square, just past the Main Street U.S.A. station, before heading straight up Main Street U.S.A. until I reached Centrale Plaza, offering a breathtaking view of the Disneyland Paris castle.

I then headed to my favourite land, Frontierland, through the big wooden fort gate, then across the land to Adventureland, towards Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, then on to Adventure Isle and Skull Rock via the wooden bridge. By this stage, I’d already been walking for 14 minutes when I found myself in front of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

I then walked through Fantasyland, past Peter Pan’s Flight, Alice’s Labyrinth and It’s a Small World. To save time, I wanted to take the passage between Fantasyland and Discoveryland, but it was closed, so I had to head back towards the castle to reach Discoveryland, where I went round Orbitron and then on to Star Tour, before going round Space Mountain, finishing with Autopia, and finally returning to Main Street U.S.A. to get back to my starting point near the park entrance gates. All in all, this journey took me 31 minutes and 12 seconds!

How long does it take to tour Walt Disney Studios Park?

To estimate how long it would take me to walk around Walt Disney Studios Park and write this article, I followed the same method as for the main park, simply starting a stopwatch as soon as I passed through the entrance gates. My route began in the direction of Studio 1, where the famous Hollywood Tower Hotel stands imposingly. Then I headed left towards the ‘Together’ show, before heading into the Avengers Campus.

After exploring this land, I headed back towards the park entrance to Toy Story Playland, where I reached the end of the park near the Cars Road Trip attraction. From there, I turned around and headed towards Pixar Land, first exploring the Ratatouille area, then finding myself in front of Crush’s Coaster. Finally, I returned to Studio 1 and made my way back to the park gates.

I completed the whole journey in 18 minutes and 47 seconds. This experience highlighted the clear difference in size between Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. However, this disparity should be reduced with the forthcoming arrival of the Snow Queen land and the huge lake planned for the park!
