Are you looking for a peaceful and fun activity at Disneyland Paris? Have you ever considered sailing on Lake Disney, right in the heart of Disney Village? This article will guide you through the unique experience of pedal boating at Disneyland Paris.
Nestled at the far end of Disney Village, right next to the majestic PanoraMagique Balloon and opposite the Earl of Sandwich restaurant, is the Marina, the starting point for your nautical adventure. This is where you used to embark for a leisurely exploration of Lake Disney.
Nautical activities of yesteryear
In the past, Lake Disney was a centre for a variety of activities. As well as pedalos, visitors could enjoy electric boats and even the romantic ‘Love Boat’. These options gave everyone the chance to discover the lake to their heart’s content, whether it was a family adventure or a romantic moment for two. Unfortunately, the Marina is now closed and it is impossible to walk around the lake at Disneyland Paris.
Fares and timetables at the time
To enjoy these magical moments on the water, here’s what you need to know:
- Pedal boat: €10
- Electric Boat: €20
- Love Boat: €30
The Marina welcomes visitors on Saturdays, Sundays, during school holidays and on public holidays from 3pm, depending on the weather conditions.
At Disney, safety comes first
To ensure your safety, it was compulsory to wear a lifejacket during these water sports activities. This ensured a safe and enjoyable experience for all. And so, whether you wanted a leisurely pedal boat ride or a romantic getaway on the Love Boat, the Disneyland Paris Marina offered a unique and memorable experience. It was the perfect opportunity to see Disney Village from a different perspective and create magical memories on the water.
