History of the Balloon
Inaugurated in 2005, PanoraMagique has not only captured the hearts of its visitors, but also marked an important milestone in the history of Disneyland Paris. With thousands of visitors having already enjoyed this unique attraction, the balloon has become a must-see for young and old alike. Its objective? To offer a breathtaking aerial view of the wonderful world of Disney.
Although its appearance has remained largely unchanged over the years, the PanoraMagique balloon at Disneyland Paris has undergone some notable transformations. In 2007, for the park’s 15th anniversary, the bottom of the balloon featured a partially opened red theatre curtain, revealing the blue and gold anniversary logo with the number 15, as well as the name of the destination. After this celebration, the balloon returned to its classic look, but with a new twist: Tinkerbell was transformed into a simple silhouette.
The design evolved again in 2020, when Disney Village reopened on 16 July, following the closure caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Although similar at first glance, there are some subtle differences. Tinkerbell is back in colour, sprinkling the balloon with her magic dust. The bottom of the balloon is now adorned with famous Disney characters known for their ability to fly, such as Dumbo, Peter Pan, Aladdin and Jasmine on the Flying Carpet, or Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. The balloon, which used to be red and yellow, is now adorned in blue and white in the Marne-la-Vallée sky.
Flight features
The PanoraMagique allows you to fly over Lake Disney, offering a 360° view of Disneyland Paris and, sometimes, beyond, up to 20 km away. This majestic sphere, inflated with helium, can lift up to 30 passengers for a 6-minute flight, allowing them to admire Disney Village, Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios Parks, and even the Eiffel Tower on a clear day!

- Use the Vinci car park at Disney Village if you are coming specifically for PanoraMagique.
