Presentation of the attraction
“It’s a small world” is an unforgettable experience that takes you on an enchanted journey around the world. The attraction was conceived by Walt Disney himself, and was first presented at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. Since then, it has captured millions of hearts around the world and continues to fascinate visitors to Disneyland Paris.
The adventure begins when you step aboard a boat specially designed for this magical cruise. As soon as you step aboard, you’re greeted by a lively, upbeat melody that will soon become the familiar refrain of “It’s a small world”. The music, composed by the Sherman brothers, is a catchy, timeless melody that will linger in your head long after your visit.
Along the way, you’ll marvel at over 300 animatronic dolls representing children from all over the world, dressed in colorful traditional costumes. Each doll is designed with incredible precision, reflecting the unique cultures and customs of different countries. From Europe to Asia, Africa to South America, North America to Oceania, each scene transports you to a new world of wonder.
