This comprehensive review will help you better understand what the Hotel Cheyenne has to offer to make your stay magical.

Hotel presentation

The Disney Hotel Cheyenne, which opened in 1992 at the same time as Disneyland Paris, offers a plunge into the atmosphere of the Wild West. Designed as a gold-rush town, this 3-star hotel is dotted with buildings named after the great characters of this iconic era. The hotel’s theming has been strongly inspired by the world of Toy Story, since the 2017 renovation, particularly highlighting the character of Woody with cowboy and Wild West decorative elements.

Ideally located within the Disneyland Paris hotel complex, opposite Disney Hotel Santa Fe, Disney Hotel Cheyenne is one of the park’s most affordable options. It can be reached on foot via a promenade along the river that borders Lake Disney, just outside Disney Village, or by free shuttle bus.

The hotel has 1,000 rooms and offers a range of services and amenities, including the Chuck Wagon Café restaurant, the General Store, the Red Garter Saloon bar, Starbucks Coffee, laundry facilities, a Disney character meeting point, a pony ride and two children’s play areas. Location and ambience

I was particularly charmed by the ambience of the Disney Hotel Cheyenne, thanks in no small part to its convenient location. Situated at a reasonable distance from the park, this hotel offers a haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle, quieter than the other three hotels surrounding the Disney Village lake. The hotel’s enchanting setting is accentuated by its proximity to a river, offering a soothing environment perfect for relaxing after a busy day in the park.

The hotel’s layout, with rooms spread between different themed buildings, also contributes to a more intimate, less industrial experience. This configuration avoids the “tourist factory” effect sometimes experienced in large hotel complexes.

What’s more, the hotel offers numerous outdoor areas to explore, adding to its charm. There’s a rose garden, a vegetable garden and even an old well – little corners of nature that invite discovery and relaxation. These details make the Disney Hotel Cheyenne a place where every moment spent enriches the overall experience of a stay at Disneyland Paris.

The rooms

In my room at the Disney Hotel Cheyenne, the atmosphere was welcoming and perfectly in keeping with the hotel’s theme. I was charmed by the layout, which included a double bed and a trundle bed, ideal for a couple or a family with a child. The room also had a private bathroom with shower, separate toilet, spacious dressing room, functional desk and, of course, a TV with Disney channels to keep the magic going into the night.

The decor was a real nod to Toy Story, with curtains in the colors of Woody’s outfit, a ceiling frieze depicting Woody, Jessie and Pile Poil, and a lamp in the shape of a sheriff’s boot that particularly caught my eye.

The size of the room proved more than adequate for me and my boyfriend, and I imagine the hotel also offers suitable options for larger families looking for more space.

Restaurant and bar

During my stay at the Disney Hotel Cheyenne, I opted for the half-board package, including breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant, and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed! The restaurant, which I already knew, remains my favorite all-you-can-eat buffet at Disneyland Paris. The decor is particularly well thought-out, with a building reminiscent of a barn and wagons scattered here and there, creating an authentic Far West atmosphere.

The variety of dishes on offer is impressive, with some specialties perfectly in keeping with the theme, such as bison, enriching the culinary experience.

What’s more, there’s a bar right next to the restaurant, the perfect place to end the evening with a cocktail. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a day in the parks, or simply to enjoy a convivial moment, this is the perfect spot to extend the day’s pleasures.

My opinion in brief

Rates at the Disney Hotel Cheyenne can vary considerably depending on when you book and how far in advance you plan your stay, generally ranging from 300 to 800 euros. For my last stay, I paid 500 euros, including park tickets and half-board. In my opinion, this hotel offers the best value for money in the park, especially for small families looking to enjoy Disneyland Paris without breaking the bank.

The only drawback of this hotel, in my opinion, is the absence of a swimming pool. However, this detail is quickly offset by the many outdoor spaces the hotel has to offer. Between the gardens, rose garden, vegetable garden and old well, there’s no shortage of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and the tranquility of the place.
