Planning a visit to Disneyland Paris can be exciting, but it can also be stressful if you’re not properly prepared. To make the most of your day at the theme park, it’s important to know what you need to take with you. Whether you’re a regular visitor or a first-timer, my guide will help you make sure you don’t forget anything for a successful day at Disneyland Paris.

If you’re planning to spend a day at Disneyland Paris, you should be prepared for a magical and exciting experience. However, with so much to see and do in this theme park, it can be easy to forget some important details that could spoil your day. To help you make sure you don’t forget anything, here’s an essential checklist for spending a day at Disneyland Paris.

My checklist for organizing your day

Tickets: Make sure you’ve bought your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment, as it’s no longer possible to buy tickets in the park. You can now buy them online only.

Opening times: Check the park’s opening and closing times before you visit. You can also check the times of shows, parades and character encounters to plan your day accordingly.

Meet the characters: If you want to meet the Disney characters, plan ahead to find out when and where they’ll be in the park. I recommend downloading the official Disneyland Paris app for real-time information.

Weather: Check the weather forecast to find out what to wear and bring a change of clothes if necessary.

Transport: Plan your route to Disneyland Paris in advance and allow enough time to arrive on time. You can use public transport, take a cab or use your own car.

Meals: Remember to reserve a table well in advance (at least 1 month in advance) in one of the park’s many restaurants to ensure you have a seat, or to save time, plan to do a click and collect on the day of your visit. If you prefer, you can prepare your own meal.

My checklist of equipment not to forget

Backpack: A backpack is essential for carrying all your personal items, such as your wallet, cell phone, keys, water bottle, snacks, camera, poncho in case of rain and so on. Make sure you choose a comfortable and practical bag for your movements in the park.

Gourd: A gourd with water to keep you hydrated throughout the day is essential. It will also save you queuing for drinks.

Umbrella or poncho: If the weather forecast calls for rain, bring umbrellas for protection. Ponchos can also come in handy.

Sunglasses and cap: If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris during the summer months, be sure to bring a hat and sunglasses to protect you from the sun, as well as sunscreen, especially for younger guests.

External battery: If you’re planning to spend a whole day at Disneyland Paris, you’ll probably need to recharge your cell phone. Bring a portable charger with your external battery to make sure you don’t run out of power.

First aid: Packing a few medicines in your bag is also a good idea to prepare you for any eventuality. You could, for example, pack medicines for headaches, stomach aches and blisters.

By following this checklist, you’re all set for a magical and unforgettable day at Disneyland Paris. Make the most of it, don’t forget to take lots of photos to remember these unique moments and share them with me on Instagram.
