Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure is a revolutionary attraction that plunges you into the heart of the Marvel universe. Located in the Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios, this adventure begins at an open house at the W.E.B. (Worldwide Engineering Brigade), where visitors meet young Peter Parker. As he introduces the WEB Slinger, a spider-web-launching device, an incident occurs: Spider-Bots escape and invade the laboratory, threatening to destroy the entire campus. With Spider-Man’s help, the visitors are recruited for a rescue mission to destroy as many Spider-Bots as possible and save the day.

How does attraction work?

The attraction uses innovative technology to enable visitors to throw virtual spider webs. Infrared cameras built into visitors’ vehicles track their movements, enabling the attraction to detect and analyze participants’ gestures. This advanced technology creates an immersive experience where visitors’ actions have a direct impact on the course of the mission. The vehicles move like a dark ride through different panels, immersing them in 4 different settings.

  • Aim for the blue and gold bots: By aiming for the blue and gold Spider-Bots, you can achieve impressive scores. Memorize the areas where these Spider-Bots appear to target them effectively and increase your overall score.
  • Exploit the environment: Use the scenery to your advantage. Explosive barrels and laser cannons, for example, can eliminate several Spider-Bots at once, giving you opportunities to score more points.
  • Experiment with accessories: in theory, the accessories sold in the store at the exit of the attraction can help you achieve a higher score. Personally, I’ve never tried them out, so I can’t tell you if this is true or not. But if you’ve already bought these accessories, don’t hesitate to take them with you!
